Scrubs and clinical workwear
Define fibre composition, fabric weight, weave or knit, colour standard, shrinkage, colourfastness, seam construction, pocket layout and size chart — then state branding, care labels, unit packing and the size ratio required in each shipment.
Masks, gloves and protective apparel
Product type alone is not a performance specification. State intended use, material, construction, size, fit, barrier or performance expectations, packing and the evidence required to support any claim.
Sampling and production approval
- Approve material and colour before the finished sample
- Record measurements and acceptable tolerances
- Confirm labels, artwork and packaging proofs
- Define pre-production and final inspection points
- Retain an approved sample for comparison
Origin and export documentation
Country-of-origin claims should be supported for the chosen supplier and shipment. Order and shipment records should identify the actual product, quantities, packaging and agreed origin documentation.
